2003 Fall Color Tour
| The Pike County
Fall Color Tour weekend was great with a number of TRJC
members participating. 15 TRJC members gave Jeep
rides for tourists and locals alike. Over 100 people
had an opportunity to see Pike County from locations
they would never be able to access by themselves. The
donations from the rides were used to assist a Pleasant
Hill soldier who was seriously injured in Iraq. Between
the $735 collected this weekend and another $500 donated
earlier, TRJC has given over $1200 to help this soldier
and his family. Frannie is shown here presenting
the check to the soldier's family. Thanks to all
who helped show folks what our hobby is all about - not
just wheelin' but making a difference in the lives of
the people in Pike and Brown counties! |
